Fans wished for it, and Netflix granted it, three seasons of the classic Saint Seiya are now available to stream on Netflix!

Saint Seiya is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name by author Masami Kurumada. The franchise first rose to prominence when its serialization began in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in January 1986. In October of that year, the very first episode of the anime adaptation aired, and history was made.

How many episodes of Saint Seiya are streaming on Netflix?

Of the original 114 episodes from the Saint Seiya series, only 41 episodes are available to stream on Netflix.

Many fans will argue that Netflix has incorrectly labeled the seasons, and we are inclined to agree with them thanks to websites such as the fan Wiki and IMDb.

Officially, the first season of Saint Seiya has 73 episodes. Netflix is missing 32 episodes of the first season.

Netflix has done this before with anime series such as Bleach and Naruto.

Will the remaining episodes come to Netflix?

It’s unclear at this time if the remaining 73 episodes of Saint Seiya will be coming to Netflix. It’s worth noting in three other regions streaming all the episodes of Saint Seiya have it listed as “6 Seasons,” which means we could see the remaining three seasons arrive at a later date.

Considering the popularity of the franchise it’s surprising that all 114 episodes didn’t arrive at the same time. At this time Netflix might be testing the waters and at a later date add the remaining three seasons.
